Linda Randklev had a couple of buildings on her property off Dubuque Road in Marion, that she wanted to have painted in a matching color.
There's a smaller building in the back with two over-head garage-style doors and a larger one off the main driveway with one really big over-head garage-style door.
Whether these buildings are in fact 'garages' or 'shops' by definition, well, that may be debatable.
Regardless of what one may call them, both metallic outdoor buildings were presure-washed with tri-sodium phosphate to clean off any dirt or chalky coating typical of metal surfaces in a rural location.
Once the warm June winds dried the surfaces, we fought those very winds to mask off the doors, windows and cement on each building in order to spray them using SuperPaint® Flat Finish by Sherwin-Williams.
Not afraid to get her hands dirty, Linda took on painting the doors and trim by herself; I never mind working with a customer who wants to do some of the work on their own.
When it was all said and done, both the garage had a fresh new look that matched perfectly.
