A Gorgeous Lakeside Home

Ralph Stephens, who lives at the end of Cottage Reserve Road in Solon used his engineering skills to build this magnificient A-frame house right on Lake Macbride.



Uneveness in the House's Exterior Color

Before photo of some uneven color on the home's exterior.

After seeing some colors in the exterior body of the house becoming uneven, Ralph decided it was time to have the whole house and deck restained.



Prepping the Surface by Power Washing and Masking

After the house was power washed with a Jomax, bleach, and water solution it was then ready for staining; all of the windows had to be masked off, as well as the roofs tarped.



Restained and Recoated to Rustic Perfection

The house and the top hand rail of the deck were brushed with an oil-based grain stain by Diamond Vogel.

The actual rails of the deck were coated with Wolman's cedar tone sealer.
